Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha poster upsets CBFC? Demand makers of Ravi Teja's Mr Bachchan to replace it with Big B-Jaya?

Telugu actor Ravi Teja's upcoming film Mr Bachchan is the official remake of Ajay Devgn's 2018 film Raid. The film will be released on August 15 and recently the makers were asked to make some major changes to their poster by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Yes, you read that right! As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, the censor board told Mr Bachchan's makers to make changes to the poster of Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha which was shown when the credits rolled. The CBFC asked them to change it with his wife Jaya Bachchan.

If reports are to be believed then, major modifications were asked to be made by the censor board. Moreover, the film has a runtime of over 2 hours and 30 minutes and has been censored with a U/A certificate. It was also stated in the report, that the team of Mr Bachchan was asked to add a disclaimer stating that the film is fictional and has no resemblance to any person or place.

Cuss words and a scene that had blood dripping were asked to be removed, muted, or blurred by the censor board. Another scene, where a child is seen smoking is asked to be changed and reportedly the child's hand is replaced by a pencil.
