Sector 36: Is there a sequel in the works for the Vikrant Massey, Deepak Dobriyal starrer? Latter spills the beans [Exclusive]

Sector 36 is getting all the attention. The film got all the love and we saw people showering praises on the actors. Sector 36 released on Netflix on September 13 and reviews have been positive. Fans and even critics have loved it. It is based on a thrilling crime drama loosely based on 2006 Noida serial murders. The performances in the film have been the reason why it has been trending on social media as well.

The film stars Vikrant Massey, Deepak Dobriyal, Akash Khurana, Ipshita Chakraborty Singh, Darshan Jariwala and others. The film is creating waves in entertainment news. The story of the show was left open-ended. This end has left fans excited as people are expecting that there will be a sequel. However, no one has spoken much about it and nobody has confirmed if there can be a sequel.

Now, Deepak Dobriyal has opened up about the possibilities of Sector 36 having a sequel. He spoke to BollywoodLife and said, "I don't think so there will be a sequel. But it can happen as well as the writer can write the story anytime. Anyone can make the sequel." He further spoke about why he decided to take up this project with a sensitive topic.

He said, "The script, screenplay were very authentic. Also, it was a different character. I have never played a cop before. So, I thought that I have never played a cop and hence I should go for it. The audience will get to see a different type of cop who is normal, reachable and human. So, all this fascinated me."

Deepak Dobriyal is seen as Inspector Ram Charan Pandey in the film and he has been appreciated for his performance in the movie. Vikrant Massey is seen as a serial killer who targets children whilst staying masked as a humble house help.
