There has been a news going viral about Bangladeshi pornstar Riya Barde. She is also known as Arohi Barde and Banna Sheikh. She was recently arrested by the Hill police in Ulhasnagar in Maharashtra for illegally staying in India with fake documents. As per reports, she has a connection with Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra's production company. Riya is from Bangladesh and she is 22-year-old who stayed in India by allegedly getting an Indian passport with fake documents. She stays with her brother and sister and her mother Ruby Sheikh got married to Arvind Barde, a resident of Amravati to stay in India.

Ruby later claimed to be a resident of West Bengal and changed her name to Anjali and has been illegally staying in India. As per reports in Zee News, Riya has been connected to Raj Kundra's production company. She has also appeared in several movies and also did a project with Gehana Vasisth. Earlier, she was arrested by Mumbai police in a prostitution case under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act. The inspector who was leading this case revealed that Riya's mother Anjali, is a Bangladeshi national living illegally in India with her two daughters and her son. She got married to an Indian and obtained an Indian passport using fake birth certificates and other fraudulent documents.
Anjali was arrested after one of Riya's friends came to know about this truth. The friend informed police and Riya is in the custody. The police are now looking for the other family members. A report in Republic says that Riya's parents are currently in Qatar and the police are now looking for sister, Ritu aka Moni Sheikh and her brother, Riyaz Sheikh.

A case has been registered against them under sections 420, 465, 468, 479, 34, and 14A of the Indian Penal Code. A research has been going on around her connection with Mumbai-based pornography rackets.
