Ranbir Kapoor reveals Animal has 3 parts; here’s when Animal Park will go on floors

It has been a year since Ranbir Kapoor's Animal was released in theatres. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the action thriller also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Triptii Dimri in pivotal roles. The movie received mixed reviews from critics as well as the audience. But it went on to become one of the biggest blockbusters of 2023.

Ranbir Kapoor on Animal trilogy

At the end of Animal, the makers confirmed the sequel titled Animal Park. In the second part, we will get to see two Ranbir Kapoors. Well, the actor just confirmed that it's a three-part film and the last one is titled Animal Kingdom. Kapoor also gave an update on when the sequel will go on floors.

In this entertainment news, in an interaction with Deadline, Ranbir revealed, "The director (Sandeep Reddy Vanga) is making another film right now. We should start the film in 2027. It's a bit away." When asked if he has seen the script and how far can his character Ranvijay go. To this, RK replied, "He just kind of flirted with what he really wants to do with the movie. He wants to make it over three parts."

"The second part is called Animal Park. We've been sharing ideas from the first part itself about how he wants to take the story forward. It's very exciting because now I get to play two characters: the antagonist and the protagonist. An extremely exciting project, an extremely original director and very excited to be a part of it," said Ranbir Kapoor.

Well, it is a wait of two years for RK and the team to start working on the sequel. Also, Sandeep is currently busy with a Telugu action film titled Spirit, which stars Prabhas in the lead role. Vanga earlier teased that it will be one of his most violent movies.
