Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was recently stabbed inside his Mumbai home and was rushed to the hospital. Post the tragic incident, Saif and his wife Kareena Kapoor have laid down certain rules for the paparazzi. Yes, you read that right! As per a Times of India report, Kareena Kapoor's team held a meeting with the Mumbai paparazzi on Tuesday.
According to the report, Saif and Kareena have asked the paparazzi not to click photos of their children, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir (Jeh) Ali Khan. The couple requested the paparazzi not to gather outside their residence due to security concerns.
As per India Today, Saif and Kareena said that their pictures as a couple can only be clicked if they attend an event. Well, this happened after Saif was attacked on January 16 at his Bandra home in Mumbai. He had spinal and plastic surgeries and was discharged on January 21. Well, the intruder was later identified as Mohd Shariful Islam Shehzad who had entered his home for robbery.
Saif had tried his best to stop the accused but he stabbed the attacker and the latter had wounds in his thoracic spine and other body parts. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital for immediate treatment. Kareena issued a statement urging fans and media to respect the family's privacy as she said, 'It has been an incredibly challenging day for our family, and we are still trying to process the events that have unfolded. As we navigate this difficult time, I respectfully and humbly request that the media and paparazzi refrain from the relentless speculation and coverage'.
She added saying, 'While we appreciate the concern and support, the constant scrutiny and attention are not only overwhelming but also pose a significant risk to our safety. I kindly request that you respect our boundaries and give us the space we need to heal and cope as a family. I would like to thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation during this sensitive time'.
