Malayalam black comedy action thriller, Rifle Club, has made its way to OTT. The movie, directed by Aashiq Abu stars Vijayaraghavan, Dileesh Pothan, Vani Viswanath, Suresh Krishna, Vineeth Kumar and Surabhi Lakshmi in key roles. Rifle Club also marks Anurag Kashyap's debut in Malayalam films. He essays the role of Dayanand Bare in the film. The movie also stars Hanumankind of Big Dawgs fame. Rifle Club had its theatrical release on December 19. A few weeks later, it is available on OTT ( January 16 onwards).

In less than a month of its theatrical release, Rifle Club is now available for fans to watch on Netflix. The news was dropped on the official social media platform of the OTT giant along with a poster of the Rifle Club featuring Anurag Kashyap and others. The caption read, "The first rule of Rifle club, you don't mess with the members of the club." Rifle Club's release on OTT came as a surprise to fans who could not contain their excitement. One of the comments on the post read, "Netflix dropped a banger." Another read, "Can't believe this will come too early on OTT."
The movie is about an underworld don Dayanand Bare who wants to avenge his son's murder. A couple accidentally kills his son and then takes refuge in a lonely rifle club in Wayanad, Kerala. The don pulls an attack on the club, and the members now have to protect the couple, as well as, their honour. The movie received a good rating of 7.5 on IMDb. Anurag Kashyap and others won accolades for their acting chops. As per reports, Rifle Club made a box office business of Rs 30 crore.
