Karisma Kapoor's ex-husband, Sunjay Kapur is in the news. He passed away on June 12 in the UK. He was 53 and died during a polo match in England. As per reports, he was stung by a bee inside his mouth which led to a fatal heart attack. Now, news about his funeral has come out. His last rites will be held on Thursday at 5 pm at the Lodhi Road Cremation Ground in New Delhi. Later, a prayer meeting will be held on June 22, 2025, between 4 pm and 5 pm at the Taj Palace Hotel in Delhi.

Sunjay Kapur was the chairman of Sona Comstar, a leading auto component manufacturer catering to electric vehicles. He was a passionate polo player and has been regular with polo matches. Due to this sport, he was also close to Prince William and was friends with him. He also maintained strong social connect in London's elite circles. They have two children daughter Samaira and son Kiaan. They both have been co-parenting their kids ever since they got separated. Later, Sunjay Kapur married Priya Sachdev. They too have two kids, Safira and Azarias. Sunjay Kapoor is also survived by his mother, Rani Surinder Kapur.
