Popular actress Shefali Jariwala, who was popularly known as the 'Kaanta Laga Girl' passed away at the age of 42 on June 28, 2025, in Mumbai. The Bigg Boss 13 contestant suddenly passed away and left the entertainment industry in shock. As per reports, Shefali passed away due to a cardiac arrest at 42 and the police officials were investigating the case.
Shefali Jariwala's mortal remains were taken from the Cooper Hospital to her residence after a post-mortem. Several celebrities arrived to pay their final respects and their videos went viral on social media. Her mortal remains were covered in red cloth and taken to the Oshiwara crematorium in Mumbai. Shefali's parents looked devastated at her funeral. Shefali Jariwala's husband, Parag accompanied her to the hospital on the night of June 27, 2025, where she was declared dead. Her father, Satish Jariwala, appeared visibly shaken at Oshiwara Crematorium in Mumbai.
On the other hand, Shefali's mother was inconsolable and was crying after she bid a final farewell to her daughter after the last rites. The heart-wrenching moment is going viral on social media.

Shefali was rushed to the Bellevue Multispecialty Hospital on June 27, 2025, after 11 pm and was declared dead upon her arrival. As per reports, the actress passed away due to a cardiac arrest and her body was sent for a post-mortem. Several celebrities like Aly Goni, Himanshi Khurana, Ashish Vidyarthi, Raza Murad and more offered their condolences to the actress's family.
