Coolie box office collection: After a modest increase in ticket sales over the second weekend, Rajinikanth's Coolie had a steep decline in revenues on Monday, Day 12. The film, which was released on August 14 to commemorate the superstar's 50th year in the business, had a record-breaking long weekend at the Indian box office and on Sunday broke the Rs 250 crore milestone. Coolie, which was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, made a meager Rs 1.65 crore on Monday until 9 PM, according to the projections from industry tracker Sacnilk. This is over 90% less than the film's Sunday earnings. This makes the total net to Rs 259 crore.
This follows a weekend in which ticket sales increased by more than 80%.

On Day 12, Coolie, the biggest Indian opening of 2025 at the global box office, brought in a total of Rs 479 crore worldwide. Out of this, the film made Rs 174 crore abroad and Rs 305 crore in India.

About Coolie
Rajinikanth plays the main lead in the film. Simon, the main antagonist, is portrayed by Nagarjuna. The actor previously said in a statement that the movie has received a huge amount of positive feedback. Breaking records felt inevitable, and he called Coolie a "celebration of legacy and reinvention." Aamir Khan makes a surprise appearance in the film, which also stars Shruti Haasan, Upendra, and Soubin Shahir.
