Today, during his speech in Rajya Sabha, Raghav Chadha raised the topic of film piracy. Parineeti Chopra's politician husband pointed out that there has been a 62% increase in piracy incidents during the pandemic.

Addressing Rajya Sabha Chairperson Jagdeep Dhankhar, Raghav Chadha referenced the Cinematography Bill passed in the House last year, which primarily addresses anti-camera recording of films in theatres. Highlighting the detrimental impact on artists' years of hard work, Raghav urged the Minister to develop an institutional mechanism to address piracy comprehensively. After Raghav gave his speech, Jaya Bachchan gave him a shout-out.
