Triptii Dimri is on a spree of signing some amazing movies back to back. The actress is all geared up for the release of her second 2024 movie, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. The trailer for the same released a few days ago and fans can't wait to see their favourite on the big screen again. Now, there's an interesting scoop at that the actress lost a part in Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 The Rule.
Yes, you read it right. Triptii Dimri was considered for a part in Pushpa 2, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna. The actress was in talks with the makers for a special dance number in the action thriller. As reported by Times Now, the Qala star had even auditioned for the part. But things didn't work out in her favour.
About this entertainment news, a source informed, "The makers auditioned Triptii Dimri, but rejected her." However, the reason for Triptii's rejection is not yet known. In Pushpa: The Rise, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu did the special dance number O Antava with Allu Arjun. In 2021, it was a song that was topping the charts. Samantha won hearts with her ravishing looks and perfect moves.
Speaking of Triptii Dimri, the actress will be seen with Rajkummar Rao in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the movie is all set to release in theatres on October 11, 2024. It's a romantic comedy set during the 90s. Before VVKWWV, Triptii appeared in Bad Newz. Directed by Anand Tiwari, she starred alongside Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk in it.
Last year, Triptii became a sensation with her performance in Animal. Many people also started calling her the national crush and Bhabhi 2 after the Ranbir Kapoor starrer released on screen. This year, Triptii's 2018 movie Laila Majnu also hit theatres again. Also starring Avinash Tiwary, the movie received immense love and minted good numbers at the box office.

Coming to Pushpa 2, the Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer was supposed to release on August 15, 2024. However, the shooting of the Sukumar directorial is yet to be finished. Also starring Fahadh Faasil, Rao Ramesh, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, and others, it will not hit theatres on December 6, 2024.
