A recent video of the singer kissing his female fans during a live show has sparked outrage. Netizens have been furious to see a singer of his stature behave inappropriately with his fans. Amidst the controversy, another shocking video of the singer has surfaced, fueling even more anger online.
In a new viral video, Udit Narayan kisses a female fan on her lips as she tries to click a selfie. In the video, the singer is on stage and several female fans gather near him for quick photos. He bends down when a fan requests for a selfie and kisses her on her lips. The video has angered a lot of people on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
In the reply, people have ,criticised the Papa Kehte Hai singer for his behaviour. One person commented, "Wow ye to tharki hai bhai." Another X user wrote, "Such a j*rk he is." Next comment read, "#uditnarayan You don't have the right to Sing anywhere & bring a Bad name to This Great Divine Art
You must go back to Nepal & take Psychiatric treatment & also apologise to the whole Musicians' fraternity for this Crime against Music & Singers."

After Udit Narayan faced backlash for his behaviour with female fans, singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya stepped in to defend him. Abhijeet told News18 that Udit is a superstar singer and such incidents happen all the time. Bhattacharya stated that people tear the singers' clothes apart if there is no proper security. "He's a romantic singer. He's also a big khiladi, and I'm an anari. Koi unke saath khelne ki koshish mat karo (Don't try to play games with him)," said Abhijeet.
In another interview, when Udit was asked if he regretted the kissing scandal, the singer confidently said that he had no regrets! He said, "No, not at all! Why should I be? Do you hear any regret or sorrow in my voice? In fact, I am laughing as I talk to you. It is not something sleazy or secret. It is there in the public domain. My heart is pure. If some people want to see something dirty in my act of pure affection, then I feel sorry for them. I also want to thank them. Because now they've made me even more famous than I already was."
