He breathed his last around 2:30 pm, leaving the entertainment industry and fans across the nation in deep shock. Shah was best remembered for his iconic role as Indravadan Sarabhai in the cult sitcom Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. His wit, dialogue delivery, and relatable on-screen personality made him one of the most beloved actors of his generation. Over the years, he left a mark with classics like Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, and films such as Main Hoon Na and Bhoothnath.
Former cricketer Yuvraj Singh took to X (formerly Twitter) to pay tribute, writing,
