Bollywood veteran actor Satish Shah, who's known for his impeccable comic timing and unforgettable roles, passed away on October 25 in Mumbai at the age of 74 due to kidney failure. He breathed his last around 2:30 pm, leaving the entertainment industry and fans across the nation in deep shock. Shah was best remembered for his iconic role as Indravadan Sarabhai in the cult sitcom Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. His wit, dialogue delivery, and relatable on-screen personality made him one of the most beloved actors of his generation. Over the years, he left a mark with classics like Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, and films such as Main Hoon Na and Bhoothnath.

Former cricketer Yuvraj Singh took to X (formerly Twitter) to pay tribute, writing,

"Some actors don't just entertain us, they become part of our homes, our jokes, and our daily routines. Satish Shah ji was one of them. His comic timing made ordinary moments unforgettable. Offering my deepest condolences to his family and well-wishers."

Renowned cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle also expressed his grief, saying, "Why are the people who gave us joy going away? Having just said goodbye to Piyush Pandey, comes the news of the passing of Satish Shah who was brilliant in Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro and so many more."
